Deep Wave Vs Kinky Curly

What is the difference between deep wave and kinky curly hair?

Our most popular frequently asked question. And we can understand why most mix up the two. Although somewhat similar (as they are both curly in their own right), they have different curl patterns.

Kinky Curly:

It's really curly and has a somewhat natural or what is regarded as ‘nappy’ hair texture. It is really soft and bouncy and when installed gives a bohemian look. This piece will be perfect for ladies who are natural (and still have weaves done) and want to have a leave out (some hair left out). This piece will easily blend in with any natural/textured hair. The hair is really easy to manage and requires low maintenance. To activate the curls any curl activator will be sufficient.

Deep Wave:

Is the same texture as your body, loose or natural wave but just has a tighter curl. A lot of times this is confused with the kinky curl because when this hair frizzes up it has a similar look to the kinky curl hair. To activate the curls in this hair from personal experience: in a spray bottle mix a little bit of conditioner and Moroccan argan oil with water. Spray onto your hair anytime it starts to frizz up or when you want to get tighter curls back and for shine. To get your hair to curl up in the pattern of the curls if you have a leave out: corn row your leave out at  night and then comb it out and blend it with your weave.
